I decided to become an Orioles fan after Buck Showalter led the club to a strong 2010 finish, which means that, yes, I suffered through 2011, and no, I didn't jump on the bandwagon during/after the 2012 run. I'm generally interested in bringing an objective and logical (i.e. sabermetrically-inclined) eye to baseball analysis, which means I find myself frequently disagreeing with Baltimore's front office. Nevertheless, I'm a fan of the Orioles until the day I die; if they continue to play so many stressful games, that day might come sooner than expected.
