Baltimore Orioles fans, if you’ve been wanting to buy the ultimate piece of memorabilia, your chance is now.
Imagine waking up every day and walking in the footsteps of your favorite Baltimore Orioles player.
If you have the money, the opportunity is yours.
Baltimore Orioles great Cal Ripken has put his massive house on the auction block and he has lowered the price.
For a few million dollars
According to an article by TMZ.com, Ripken’s house has been for sale since 2016. He originally was asking $12.5 million, but in April 2017, he dropped the price to $9.75 million.
And, no one is buying.
Ripken’s house is massive and loaded with everything that anyone could imagine including in a home. The home is approximately 22,000 square feet and is located on 24 acres.
Make an appointment to see it
If you want to see inside of this mansion, there will actually be open houses. But, these will not be open to the general public. To see the home, you have to schedule an appointment to see it on a Saturday or Sunday between April 14 and May 11. The auction will take place on May 12. DeCaro Auctions is hosting the event.

According to the auction site, the home does not have a reserve, so the price could be significantly lower than the $9.75 million tag that is currently on it.
The property is located at 13301 Dover Road in Reisterstown, Maryland. It’s on a wooded lot and behind a substantial fence.
What you get for the price
Along with Ripken’s DNA, the home includes some amazing amenities. There are six bedrooms and 15 bathrooms – 10 of which are full. You can relax by the pool and watch movies in the theater. Ripken had a batting cage and full-size baseball diamond installed on the property. On cold or rainy days, you get some exercise by playing basketball on the indoor full-size court. You could also work out in the immense training room, too.

There would be very few reasons to leave the house. Sadly, it is about three hours away from the beaches at Ocean City For $9.75 mil, I’d want it close to the ocean (a girl has to have standards). But, the house is about a 30-minutes away from Camden Yards. So, that’s a plus.
