Spring baseball is finally here! The Orioles are set to kick off their Grapefruit League schedule later this afternoon with a 1:05pm EST matchup against the Pirates. In total, the O's will play 26 regularly scheduled spring games, along with two split-squad matchups later in March. They'll also take part in the second annual Spring Breakout with a prospect matchup against the Yankees on March 15.

Unfortunately, MASN isn't kind when it comes to getting Orioles games on air. The O's TV partner gives fans one of the worst spring experiences you can ask for. MASN is set to air just 8 of the Orioles games this spring, though most of their contests will be available via either the opposing team's video feed, or via at least one radio feed.

There are, however, a number of games that will be completely unavailable. In addition to the 4 games that fans won't have any kind of access to, just 15 of the Orioles' 30 spring games will be televised. For the 8 games available on MASN, fans in the Baltimore area will be able to watch with a normal cable subscription.

Out-of-market fans will be able to tune into all 15 of the available televised matchups with an MLB.tv subscription. Those with an MLB.tv subscription will also be able to stream all available radio feeds when applicable.

It's an exciting feeling to know that we're finally getting back into the swing of things. The Orioles are coming into 2025 with big expectations, especially after their performance over the last two seasons. Yes, those years ended painfully with back-to-back first round playoff exits with the Orioles getting swept in both series.

But that postseason pain makes this year all the more interesting. We'll see if the O's are able to hold it together on the injury front after suffering a crippling number of problems last year. At one point, the O's had 13 guys on the IL, including three of their top five starting pitchers. The health of the 2025 Orioles will be a big story line to follow, as will whether or not the rotation can keep pace after losing Corbin Burnes to free agency.
