The MLB draft is this weekend, and for the first time since 2022, the Baltimore Orioles have a top-10 pick. This year's draft will be completed across two days. The first four rounds of the draft will be on Saturday, with the first 10 picks being broadcast on Peacock and NBC; picks 11-40 will be shown on MLB Network as well as MLB TV and MLB.com, and then picks 41-135 will be available on just MLB TV and MLB.com. The draft will then resume on Sunday with rounds 5-20 available for viewing on MLB TV, MLB.com and MLB+.

The Orioles don't have the wealth of comp picks that they had in last year's draft, but they'll still have plenty of opportunity to bring in potentially franchise-changing talent. Here are all of their picks in this year's draft:

Complete list of Baltimore Orioles’ 2026 MLB Draft picks

  • First Round, No. 7
  • Second Round, No. 46
  • Third Round, No. 82
  • Fourth Round, No. 110
  • Fifth Round, No. 142
  • Rounds 6 - 20, the Orioles will have the No. 7 selection of each round

The Orioles originally had a Competitive Balance Round A pick, which would have been the 33rd pick in the draft, but they traded that pick to the Rays in the deal that brought Shane Baz to Baltimore and also sent out Caden Bodine and Slater De Brun, who the Orioles took with the 33rd and 37th picks in last year's draft.

The Orioles have a bonus pool of $13,114,000 to sign their draft picks with this year. That ranks 13th in all of baseball, putting the Orioles squarely in the middle of the pack in terms of spending power.

Even when the Orioles had some of the largest bonus pools in baseball, they had a track record of playing safe in the first few rounds and targeting underslot college bats so that they would have more money to throw around late in the draft. This strategy has largely not worked, as the last 10 rounds of the draft have been mostly unfruitful for this Orioles front office.

With the exception of Nate George, who the Orioles drafted out of high school in the 16th round of the 2024 draft, the Orioles have not had a top 100 prospect drafted outside the first four rounds of the draft. So if you're planning on following the draft this year, those are the picks to watch for the Orioles.
