Welcome back, Mychal Givens!
A familiar face and member of the last Baltimore Orioles playoff team has returned! Bah gawd, that’s Mychal Givens’s music!
The 32 year old sidearm-throwing righty agreed to a one year, $5 million contract with a mutual option for the 2024 season. Givens won’t be the closer as he was the last time he donned the orange and black, but figures to be a valuable middle relief option that will bridge to a backend of the bullpen that features Dillon Tate, Cionel Perez, and Félix Bautista. Givens marks the third player the Orioles have signed to a major league deal, joining starting pitcher Kyle Gibson and utility man Adam Frazier.
