While Adley Rutschman is not playing this season for the Baltimore Orioles, he seems to be wasting no time getting into the dating game.
But, it looks like something is brewing between the Baltimore Orioles prospect and Prewett.
On Wednesday, Madison Prewett, one of the most prominent contestants on Pilot Peter Weber’s somewhat unsuccessful season of The Bachelor, posted a photo on Instagram with a caption reading “Roses are red, violets are blue, whoever finishes this best, dinner on me for two.”
Rutschman, the top prospect in the Orioles’ organization, then commented on the post with “Roses are red, violets are blue…. I’ll change your name to Rutschman from Prew.”
Prewett responded to Rutschman with “woah this is moving really fast….. first I need to know how do you say that last name?”
Rutschman proceeded to reply again with “guess we will have something to talk about over dinner then (winky face emoji).”
The Orioles’ got involved in the exchange referencing Prewetts’ time on the Bachelor. Prewett was one of Pilot Pete’s final two. Weber proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss, a model from Tennessee, before changing his mind and deciding he wanted to be with Prewett.

However, Prewett and Weber did not work out with some speculating it had to do with Weber’s mother, Babara, not wanting her son to be with Prewett.
This is where the Orioles’ Instagram post comes in. The Birds posted a comment saying “Carol Rutschman (Adley’s mom) >>>> Barbara Weber.”
I am all for a Prewett and Rutschman romance. Prewett has been outspoken about her Christian faith and Rutchsman has Colossians 3:23 in his Instagram bio. Maybe Rutschman and Prewett is a match made in heaven?
Who knows if anything will come from this with dinner dates being a bit hard during a global pandemic. However, it is fun to think about a future Orioles’ star player being part of a celebrity A-list couple.
It will be interesting to see if anything arises from the Rutschman’s bold move but we will make sure to post updates if anything does.
