The Baltimore Orioles have hit the skids. Can they get back on track against the Oakland Athletics?

After dropping their ninth consecutive road game on Thursday night, the Baltimore Orioles will try to right the ship in a weekend series against the Oakland Athletics. The three-game slate is the final stop on the Birds’ tour of California, and at 8-21, they’d love to return to Maryland with double-digit wins.

Of course, that won’t be easy for a team that ranks dead last in the American League in runs scored. Even when the Orioles have produced, it’s been too little, too late.

Weather report

The temperature isn’t expected to rise above 64 degrees at any point during the weekend, and steady 13 mph winds could make things uncomfortable for the fans in the nosebleeds. The forecast calls for a 10% chance of rain during all three games, but it’s nothing to worry about at this writing.
