The Baltimore Orioles finished the 2017 season in last place in the American League East, but they didn’t land there without a fight.
In fact, the Baltimore Orioles put up some rather impressive numbers in the 2017 season.
Let’s take a look back at 17 of those before the calendar switches to 2018.
Beckham finished 2017 with a .306 batting average with the Orioles. His prior season-high average was .247.
Jonathan Schoop had 105 RBIs. He led the team. Machado was the closest behind him with 95.
Despite finishing last in the AL East, the Orioles had the fifth most home runs in the AL (232). The pitching staff also gave up the second most home runs (242).
