The Baltimore Orioles took care of business on Friday night, beating the Pittsburgh Pirates by a final score of 6-3 in their series opener.

The Pirates are now in a middle of a skid that has seen them go 1-10 in their last 11 games.

Can they get back on track tonight or will the Orioles hand them another loss? Let's find out what the oddsmakers think.

Pirates vs. Orioles odds, run line, and total

Pirates vs. Orioles prediction and pick

Everyone predicted the Pirates would be one of the worst teams in the Majors at the start of the season, but then they shocked the baseball world by coming out of the gates hot. They even had the best record in the National League for a moment in time.

Now, things have come crashing back down to earth and they've started to look like the team we all expected them to. Not only are they 1-10 in their last 11 games, but they're 28th in baseball in OPS since May 1st, sporting a number of just .573.

In no way can I bet on a team that's posting those kinds of numbers. It's time to go back to treating the Pirates like we planned to at the start of the season.

It also helps us out that the Orioles have the clear advantage when it comes to starting pitchers. Tyler Wells sports an ERA of 3.15, while Roansy Contreras sits at 4.74.

Don't overthink this game. It's the O's or nothing for me. I'll back them on the moneyline at -175.
