Orioles vs. Tigers prediction and odds for Thursday, April 27 (O's win on road)
The Orioles and Tigers start a weekend series in Detroit on Thursday night with Baltimore looking to build on its hot start.
The Orioles swept the Tigers at home last weekend and will look to do the same this time on the road with veteran Kyle Gibson toeing the rubber for the upstart O's. Can Detroit find an answer for Baltimore with left hander Joey Wentz?
Let's find out by first checking out the odds:

Orioles vs. Tigers prediction and pick
Road game or not, the Orioles lineup is too loaded for Wentz and the Tigers' pitching staff. The O's knock around lefties often, top 10 in batting average and slugging percentage against southpaws this season.
Wentz has struggled a ton in his first full season. Through four starts he has an ERA of 7.56 with an alarming walk rate of eight in over 16 innings so far. He has not pitched more than five full innings yet this season and is struggling to lower his pitch count. Against a talented Orioles lineup, I believe they can put a lot of pressure on what is an underwhelming Tigers bullpen.
On the other side, the Tigers offense probably can't hold up agianst Kyle Gibson. While the veteran is far from stellar, Detroit's offense is putrid at the plate, hitting just .214 and is second to last in wRC+.
Baltimore has a ceiling that Detroit can't reach, I'll take the O's on the road to win despite the price tag.
