The Baltimore Orioles won a high-scoring matchup with the Boston Red Sox on Thursday, but they have a tougher matchup against Chris Sale on Saturday afternoon.

Sale, who has been injured a lot the past few seasons, is good to go for the second game of the season for Boston. Dean Kremer gets the ball for the Orioles, after putting together a strong 2022 campaign where he posted a 3.23 ERA.

This is the first time in nearly two years that Sale will make a start at Fenway Park, but does he return with a win?

Here are the latest odds and a pick for this matchup:

Orioles vs. Red Sox prediction and pick

I think the Orioles are live to win this game, mainly because I don’t trust the Boston bullpen.

The Red Sox gave up 10 runs in the season opener, struggling even after Corey Kluber was lifted from the game.

Personally, I think Kremer is better than Kyle Gibson, especially with how he finished the 2022 season.

The young Orioles starter posted 10 straight starts to end the season where he allowed three or fewer earned runs.

Back the O’s as underdogs to grab a win this afternoon.

Pick: Orioles Moneyline (+140)
