Orioles vs. Rangers prediction and odds for Monday, April 3
The Baltimore Orioles went 1-2 in Boston to start the season, but it's clear that this team is ready to take a step forward in 2023.
The Orioles had the most impressive offense through the first weekend of the series and now travel to Texas to take on another high powered lineup in the Rangers, who were one of three teams to sweep the opening series this past weekend.
Can the Orioles start its second road set with a win? Here are the odds for Monday's matchup:

Orioles vs. Rangers prediction and pick
While the Texas Rangers looked dominant in a home sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies, hanging double digits twice and then winning 2-1 on Sunday Night Baseball, I'm going to sell high on them against a Baltimore offense that actually outperformed Texas over the weekend.
The Orioles are tied with the St. Louis Cardinals for the best on-base percentage through the first weekend of the season at .426. While a small sample, it shows the growth the Orioles are taking at the plate around prized prospect Adley Rutschman, who got on base seven times in 16 plate appearances and drove in four runs.
I also like the chances for Kyle Bradish to get off to a strong start in 2023. He struggled early in his rookie season last year, but the right hander lowered his ERA from 7.38 in 10 starts to 3.28 in 13 starts following the All-Star break.
After an impressive sweep, I'll fade the Rangers against a new opponent.
