We're approaching the halfway point of the MLB season and the Baltimore Orioles are still sitting pretty in the AL East. But, with the Yankees, Blue Jays, and Red Sox on their tail, they can't afford to lift their foot off the gas pedal.

Baltimore is in the midst of a weekend series against the Seattle Mariners.

Let's dive into the odds for Saturday's showdown and then I'll give you my best bet for the second game of the series.

Mariners vs. Orioles odds, run line, and total

Mariners vs. Orioles prediction and pick

A big reason for the Mariners underwhelming record is their lack of offense. Over the last 30 days, the Mariners are 24th in Major League Baseball in both OPS and batting average.

The Orioles will roll with Dean Kremer on Saturday, who has allowed two or fewer runs in three of his last four starts as he's starting to find his footing in 2023. A matchup against a struggling Mariners offense should give Kremer a chance to improve his numbers.

With that being said, the Orioles offense has also regressed over the past month, ranking 15th in OPS over the last 30 days. They've been largely winning their games with strong defensive performances, so the bet to make in this one is the UNDER 8.5.
