The Orioles high powered offense paved the way for the team to even its three game series against the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night, 8-5.

Baltimore will start Austin Voth as an opener on Wednesday in hopes of taking the three game set from Cleveland, who counters with Shane Bieber, the team's ace. Can the Orioles keep pace in the most competitive division in baseball, or will they struggle against a quality arm?

Here are the odds for Wednesday afternoon's matchup:

Guardians vs. Orioles prediction and pick

Voth will go through the order no more than once before he passes the ball along to the Orioles top 10 bullpen, but this matchup should suit the right hander nicely as the Guardians check in last in hitting metrics such as wRC+ and hit only .229 as a group.

Meanwhile, Bieber is going to have his hands full with the Orioles lineup, an elite unit across the board. The team hits above .250 and slugs at over .400. The team is 10th in total hits over the last 15 days and right around the league average in walks. While Bieber enters as the team's top pitcher, his strikeout marks are dwindling (only six strikeouts per nine this season) and the Orioles ability to put the ball in play and put pressure on the opposing pressure is too great to ignore.

While the pitching edge may go to Bieber, it's outweighed by the Orioles talent at the plate and depth behind Voth.

I'll take the Orioles at a discount.
