The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays continue to jockey for positioning in the American League East.

Both teams are known for its offense, but each have been below standards since the start of June. However, it's worth noting that each starter Kyle Bradish and Jose Berrios have paths to success on Wednesday.

How should we attack this game from a betting perspective? First, the odds:

Blue Jays vs. Orioles prediction and pick

Both teams are scoring below the league average in June, averaging about four runs per game since the calendar flipped to June, and I'm locked in on both starting pitchers having a strong start to this one.

Bradish has been better at Camden Yards than on the road, posting a 3.74 ERA at home rather than a 4.60 ERA on the road. I think with the state of the Blue Jays offense, Bradish can pitch to his ceiling.

However, he's matched up against a pitcher that has been far superior in Berrios. It's clicked for the right hander of late, posting a 2.01 ERA over his last five starts while holding opponents to a .211 batting average in that time frame.

The Orioles offense has been middling for the last two weeks or so and Berrios has been pitching at his best since being acquired by the Blue Jays two-and-a-half seasons ago.

Despite the high billing of each team's offense, it's the pitchers that should get off to a strong start on Wednesday. I'll avoid each bullpen and target the first five under as my favorite bet in this one.
