During the course of a season, teams go through plenty of roster turnover, for differing reasons. The Orioles are no exception to this, having shuffled through a lot of players this year. Plenty of players leave a mark, while some fly through under the radar.

There are plenty of depth pieces that have come through Baltimore at various points of the season. How many of them can you remember?

Reed Garrett, RP

Reed Garrett was signed to a minor league contract before the 2023 season by the Orioles, spending time in Norfolk until June, when the Orioles called him up. He pitched a scoreless inning against the Blue Jays before his next appearance two days later, June 16 against the Chicago Cubs.

That game, he allowed 3 runs in 1 2/3 innings, allowing five hits and walking one. He was optioned to Triple A the next day and designated for assignment on June 18. He was claimed off waivers by the New York Mets. He spent the rest of the season bouncing between Triple A and the majors, pitching to a 5.82 ERA in nine games with the Mets.
