The 2025 MLB Draft opens on Sunday night, with the first three rounds set to be completed. Included in the selections made on Sunday will be the Prospect Promotion Incentive picks, the compensation picks, and the competitive balance selections. As the Baltimore Orioles embark on a month that could see the reconstruction of their Major League roster, depending on the moves made later in July at the trade deadline, the draft could give Orioles fans an early look at the new direction of the team.

It's also important to note that the Orioles, given their lack of spending this past offseason, need to thrive when it comes to their draft selections and player development. If the Orioles aren't going to swim in the deepest of free agency waters during the offseason, then the team must rely on their prospects and development to reopen their contending window.

That starts on Sunday with their selection in the first round. Keeping track of when the Orioles are on the clock can be tricky, given the inclusion of the ancillary rounds, but we have you covered with a full list of the team's draft picks in this year's draft.

Complete list of Baltimore Orioles’ 2025 MLB Draft picks

  • First Round, No. 19
  • Compensation Round, No. 30
  • Compensation Round, No. 31
  • Compensation Round, No. 37
  • Second Round, No. 58
  • Competitive Balance Round B, No. 69
  • Third Round, No. 93
  • Fourth Round, No. 124
  • Fifth Round, No. 154
  • Rounds 6 - 20, the Orioles will have the No. 19 selection of each round

Lack of spending this past offseason is the reason why the Orioles have back-to-back selections in the compensation round after the first round of the draft is completed.

The No. 30 pick is the result of the Orioles extending a qualifying offer to Corbin Burnes before Burnes rejected the offer and signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Similarly, the No. 31 choice arrived as the result of Anthony Santander signing with the Toronto Blue Jays after rejecting the Orioles' qualifying offer.

Burnes is out for the remainder of the season as he begins his recovery from Tommy John Surgery, while Santander has been a disaster for the Blues, hitting under .200 with 6 home runs on the season through 209 plate appearances.
