Gibson chose Orioles over other similar offer?
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, who broke the news of Kyle Gibson’s agreement with the Orioles, reported yesterday that the 35 year old had an identical offer from another club but chose to commit to Baltimore due to a multitude of factors that included best baseball boy Adley Rutschman and the comfy new dimensions at Camden Yards. Orioles bolster analytics staff
In yet another bit of news that would’ve been considered parody even five years ago, the Baltimore Orioles have restructured and made additions to their domestic and international analytics staffs, according to MASN’s Roch Kubatko. A department that was wholly neglected in past front office regimes is now thriving and filled with talented individuals that enable the front office to make the most informed decisions possible.
If the Baltimore Orioles choose to sign a marquee free agent, would shortstop Carlos Correa, who has connections to their front office, make the most sense?
The Winter Meetings are back!

Will the Orioles make any deals? Will any of the marquee free agents find their new home? Will Rob Manfred say something he shouldn’t in a media availability as has been tradition? Tune in to find out!
