Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, who broke the news of Kyle Gibson’s agreement with the Orioles, reported yesterday that the 35 year old had an identical offer from another club but chose to commit to Baltimore due to a multitude of factors that included best baseball boy Adley Rutschman and the comfy new dimensions at Camden Yards. Wait, so a pitcher actually chose to pitch for the Orioles? What year is it?
