Orioles Hold Onto Trey Mancini For The Rest Of 2019

The closer and closer the trade deadline comes, the more unlikely it feels that the Orioles will trade away their top player, Trey Mancini at the July deadline.

The 27-year-old is slashing an outstanding .289/.350/.539 with 21 home runs and 47 RBI’s. Off the field, he is a leader in the clubhouse and has taken several of the clubs younger players under his wing.

While he’s in the prime of his carer and likely will be outside of it once the team is ready to compete the Orioles need fans in the ballpark for the rest of the season and Mancini is the player keeping them in the yard.

Though it’s hard to believe he’ll be dealt at the deadline there’s a high possibility he is a candidate to be moved this off-season as he’d bring back a large haul of prospects.
