The Baltimore Orioles have yet to play their first spring training game, but we can still daydream about who will represent the organization at the 2025 MLB All-Star game.

Last year, the Orioles sent five representatives to Texas for All-Star festivities: Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Corbin Burnes, Anthony Santander, and Jordan Westburg. For Henderson, Santander, and Westburg, it was their first All-Star appearances, and the second for Rutschman in his brief three-year career thus far.

Recently over at ESPN.com, David Schoenfield put together his way-too-early All-Star team predictions for 2025, naming two Orioles to the AL roster in Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson. Gunnar continuing to be Gunnar and Adley having what many expect to be a rebound year will surely have both young stars back in the All-Star contest, but could we see any Orioles become first-time All-Stars in 2025?

Primed for an even bigger season in 2025, second-year outfielder Colton Cowser finished second in American League Rookie of the Year voting in 2024 and has captured the admiration of a large section of the Orioles fanbase who pack Camden Yards in milkman and cow costumes. The Colton Cowser All-Star voting campaign should have no issues gathering an enthusiastic voter block.

But Cowser is more than capable of putting up the numbers on the field to deem him worthy of an All-Star selection. Last season, Cowser ranked 7th among American League outfielders in fWAR and was top-ten in home runs (24). He will be a prominent bat in the Orioles lineup this season and with an improved performance in his second full season in the big leagues, Cowser should establish himself as one of the better outfielders not just in the American League, but in all of the major leagues.

While it would be cool to see another Yennier Cano type performance from an Orioles reliever who pitches his way to an All-Star game, if the Orioles are to be one of the top teams in the league in 2025, they will need one of their young pitchers to stay healthy and have the true big league breakout he's been on the verge of having since making his MLB debut. That young arm would be Grayson Rodriguez.

Injuries have impacted his first two seasons in the majors but Rodriguez was putting together quite the campaign before his season ended early in 2024. Across 116 innings, Rodriguez put up a 3.86 ERA with more strikeouts and fewer walks than his rookie debut, and take pitcher wins for what they are, but Rodriguez was 13-4 and the Orioles were 14-6 in games Rodriguez started.

Projections believe Rodriguez will be a top 15 pitcher in the American League (14th in fWAR according to OOPSY projections), but a full season from a healthy Grayson Rodriguez is capable of more.

He's also been experimenting with a sweeper this spring, which would give him a third different breaking ball to pair with his fastball, which is one of the better fastballs in the league among starting pitchers, according to FanGraphs Stuff+ model.

This year's All-Star game will be in Atlanta, Georgia. Here's to multiple young Orioles making their first All-Star trips in 2025.
