Ryan Mountcastle hit an RBI double to score Adley Rutschman in the 6th to give the O’s hope and making the score 3-2.
Bryan Baker (4.09 ERA) came in with a runner on in the 7th.
Tim Mayza (2.87 ERA) entered for Toronto in the 7th.
Teoscar Hernandez hit a 415-foot home run (20) to extend the lead by one run to make it 4-2.
DL Hall (9.64 ERA) came in to pitch for Baltimore in the 8th.
Anthony Santander hit another 414-foot home run (27) in the 8th to make it 4-3 Toronto. His two homers came from both sides of the plate.

George Springer singled to score Lourdes Gurriel. The Blue Jays began to ride the moment as Vladimir Guerrero hit a single to score Santiago Espinal followed up by a Bo Bichette single to score George Springer to make it 7-3. Hall looked rough today and gave up lots of hard contact.

Nick Vespi (3.96 ERA) came in for the O’s in the 3rd with 2 runners on. Jordan Lyles was scheduled to start but didn’t feel well, meaning the Brandon Hyde resorted to a bullpen game.
The reign of Bo Bichette started in the 3rd inning when he hit a 412-foot 3-run home run (19).
Bruce Zimmerman (5.85 ERA), called up between games, relieved Vespi in the 4th.
Bichette hit another home run (20) in the 6th. This one was a solo shot that soared 380-feet to extend Toronto’s lead to 4-1. Cavan Biggio a few batters later hit a solo 370-foot home run (6) to make it 5-1. Jackie Bradley Jr hit a 2-RBI double to continue the 6th inning bleeding and made it 7-1.

Trevor Richards (4.36 ERA) relived Berrios, who had a good outing for Toronto, with bases loaded.
