The Arizona Fall League will hold their 11th annual “Fall Stars Game” on Saturday evening. And the Baltimore Orioles will have one of their prospects represent them in the game, which showcases the bast talent from the AFL.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder DJ Stewart, who was the 25th overall pick in the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft from Florida State University, was selected for the 2016 Arizona Fall League “Fall Stars Game”.

Stewart went 10-for-45 with three doubles, a triple, five runs scored, and five RBIs in 12 games.

Stewart also showed discipline at the plate, walking 11 times and stealing three bases out of three steal attempts.

He played 59 games in Single-A Frederick, where Stewart batted .279/.389/.448 with 12 doubles, six homers and 30 RBI’s. Stewart’s promotion to Single-A garnered question marks after he hit 230/.366/.352 in 62 games with low Single-A Delmarva. But the director of player development Brian Graham stuck with his decision, and it certainly worked out in Stewart’s favor.
