On Friday, the Baltimore Orioles and Miami Marlins will begin a series in Miami, as the Orioles go away for the weekend before returning to Baltimore for another eight home games.

The Orioles are coming off a nine-game homestand, one that saw them host the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Angels, and Seattle Mariners. Baltimore went 5-4 over that stretch.

Ubaldo Jimenez (3-3, 2.43 ERA) will take the mound for the Orioles, against Henderson Alvarez (0-3, 6.23 ERA) of the Marlins.
