I’m going to keep this brief today because I need to get down to the Convention Center myself, but the Baltimore Orioles will host their
annual Fan Fest today at the Baltimore Convention Center from 11 AM – 6 PM. Fan Fest is an event to which most fans look forward on an annual basis, and it includes fun for the entire family. Admission is $12 at the door, and as I tell people Fan Fest includes pretty much everything that you can do at an Orioles home game, except of course the game itself! You can stand in line at the MASN booth to meet and take pictures with various players, former players, and personalities, look at the various exhibits, get autographs from players and coaches, and much more.
You can follow my twitter feed as well as our Birds Watcher twitter feed for occasional updates from the event. You can also follow our new staff writer, Scott Cahoon, who will be walking around today’s event taking pictures. Those photos will be posted either later today or tomorrow on our Birds Watcher twitter feed. I’ll also be lingering around the convention floor myself at various points, so if you see me feel free to say hello! You can also catch my recap of the event tomorrow, in what will be another truncated column. The fact is that there’s a sporting event tomorrow that will probably take some precedence!
