Orioles Claim Armando Gabino

The Orioles made minor news today, claiming Twins pitcher Armando Gabino off waivers.  Gabino, is a big guy at 6-4 and only 26 years old. The now Orioles pitcher went 6-4 with three saves and a 2.94 ERA (98.0IP, 32ER) in 38 games (seven starts) with Triple-A Rochester in 2009.

The Orioles lost three players today, Rich Hill, Jeff Fiorentino, and Guillermo Rodriguez. All three decided to refuse an outright assignment to triple-A Norfolk, instead will file for free-agency.
