Scott Update

AUTHOR: Michael | IN: BirdsWatcher Related | COMMENTS: None Yet |

Scott hit off a tee yesterday and didn’t feel any pain in his left shoulder, but he still has some stiffness that he’s working out due to the inflammation, which confirms that the Orioles made the right call in placing him on the disabled list. Scott said he has full range of motion, but if his shoulder doesn’t feel as normal as it did before he dived back into first base to beat Joba Chamberlain’s pickoff throw, he shouldn’t be playing.

This is really good news that he will be able to return once he comes off the DL. Our bats have been awful lately and we need something or someone to put it back on track. This road trip has been going much worse than I expected and its not even our starting pitching, but the relievers, offense, and defense. It’s good to see that Jones is still on a roll, he just needs more production around him. Reimold hit his first career home-run tonight off a future hall of famer. It finally looks like he is getting conferrable at the plate and showing that he belongs on the 25 man roster. I know that I’m suppose to be on vacation, but it’s hard to stay away from the O’s, even through the bad.
