All the sources that have been following the Luke Scott injury closely don’t believe it’s anything serous. The team has no plans on putting Scott on the DL, and most likely be day-to-day. If all of this is true, it’s very good news because we need Lukes bat in the middle of the lineup. Hopefully, he will be back by next week the latest, and pray that his bat is still at least warm.
I was listening to Peter Schmuck on the radio this morning, and he mentioned that Rich Hill will be in a Orioles uniform by the weekend. This is as good or better news than Luke not going on the DL. Our starting pitching at the bottom of the rotation is nothing better than bad. Most likely Hill will replace Hendrickson, who will move into the bullpen. I have a lot more faith in Hill on the mound than Hendrickson who is currently 1-4 with a 5.13 ERA. Now that today is most likely Hendrickson’s last start, all we got left is to eventually get Eaton out the rotation.
