The day is finally here, one of our young pitching studs is going to be playing in a Orioles uniform. Liz, after a horrible two outings got optioned down to Norfolk, as Brad Bergesen was called up. I know he is young, and has high expectations, but I think some people are going to read to much into the game if he does bad; we have to remember, it’s his first time at this level. With that being said, I expect Bergesen to do well, and stay at this level. God I hope so. He is 1-1 in Norfolk, with a 2.45 ERA. Lets brake this losing streak Brad!
Chicago White Sox will be countering with Jose Contreras, who is getting paid $10,000,000 this season. Contreras, is 0-2 so far with a 6.97 ERA. In his last two starts, he has only pitched a total of 10.1 innings, putting it nicely, he has sucked. Last season Contreras owned the O’s, going 2-0 with a amazing 1.32 ERA. Hopefully, Contreras will stay off track for one more game, we can only hope.
