It was tough watching this game after the top of second inning. I can not believe we blew this game, and to make it worse, our ace was on the mound. I know it was the Red Sox bats that we had to face, but come on, we should not have lost that game. I can not explain how upset I am, and the only comfort I am given is knowing the reinforcement is a year or two away.
Offensively, at least in the second inning was on fire. Nick Markakis had his second career grand slam and things were rolling. After the top of the second I believed with Guts on the mound, that we’d pull this game off. But after that, our pitching sucked, our bats sucked, we the hole damn teamed sucked. Unfortunately, I know with Eaton on the mound tomorrow that it will not be any better, but hopefully he proves me wrong. I’m keep this short, I need to calm myself down for the night.
