Baltimore Orioles (6-3) @ Boston Red Sox(3-6)

Fenway Park (Boston, MA)
The Orioles will be taking on the Red Sox in a four game series. We won our last three series against the Yankees, Rays, and Rangers. If we win at least two against the Red Sox it will be huge, no surprise. The Sox are at the bottom of the AL East for now, and we know they are going to look to bounce back in a four game series, at home, and against the always last place Orioles. We will have to bring our “A” game, especially tonight with our ace on the mound, our most likely shot to win with Eaton pitching tomorrow.
The Red Sox will have recently acquired pitcher Brad Penny taking the ball tonight. Penny, won his first game as a Red Sox, but not without trouble. He is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA. Penny, hasn’t pitched in Fenway Park since 2003, and in fact never started against the Orioles in his career. He is a tough pitcher, and will probably have to jump on him early.
Tonight, we got our guy on the mound, Guthrie. He had a good outing against the Yanks, and a great outing against the Rays. So far this young season the team has really put up a lot of runs for Guts. In order to beat the high potent offense of the Sox, and a good pitcher in Penny, we have to keep it up. Lets show Beantown what Birdland is all about!
